Cancellation & Refund Policy

  1. Scope

This policy applies to all paid offerings, including groups, workshops, retreats, webinars, Grief Café series, and consultation sessions.

By registering for an offering, you agree to the terms outlined below.

  1. Cancellations & Refund Eligibility

All cancellations must be made through the Calendly booking system used at the time of registration.

Refunds are issued based on the timing of your cancellation relative to the scheduled start date or session:

    • 14 days or more prior
      Full refund
    • 7–13 days prior
      50% refund
    • Less than 7 days prior
      No refund
    • After the offering has commenced or a session has passed
      No refunds will be issued
  1. Consultation (Rescheduling)

For individual sessions only:

    • 24 hours’ notice or more
      One reschedule permitted at no additional charge (via Calendly)
    • Less than 24 hours’ notice or missed session
      Session is considered used and is non-refundable
  1. Missed Attendance

Failure to attend a scheduled session or offering does not entitle you to a refund or credit.

  1. Provider Cancellation

If I cancel or reschedule an offering for any reason:

    • You will receive a full refund of fees paid, or
    • You may choose to attend a rescheduled session (if applicable)

No additional compensation is provided.

  1. Extenuating Circumstances

Requests for exceptions due to unforeseen circumstances may be considered at my
sole discretion. Approval of any exception is not guaranteed.

  1. Non-Transferability

Registrations are non-transferable and may not be assigned, shared, or transferred to
another person.

  1. Payment Processing

Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment within a reasonable timeframe.
Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.

  1. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable federal
laws of Canada.

  1. Acknowledgement

By completing registration and payment, you acknowledge that you have read,
understood, and agreed to this Cancellation & Refund Policy.
